en route to Italy - Cyprus

This is not the snout of a sawtooth shark. It is actually the north-eastern tip of Cyprus, looking towards the south. We flew over Cyprus en route from Hong Kong to Rome, via Dubai.

Cyprus has been effectively divided into pro-Greek south and pro-Turkey north since 1974. At least there is no fighting now, and signs seem to point to better relations.
