We arrived in Phnom Penh on Sunday, 27 June. This is what Phnom Penh looks like from the air. The Mekong River runs from the north (left) to the south (right) here. The land is lushly green. There is water everywhere: rivers, lakes, swamps, ... The country really should not be so poor. In fact, it was not in such bad shape until the war and the in-fighting in the 1970s.
I have been so busy, sometimes staying up until 3AM, that I have not had time to post here. Will try to write more.
