Kyrgyz Shangri-la

Much of Kyrgyzstan is covered by the rugged Tian Shan.  

Hidden in the valleys, however, are real life Shangri-la’s.  

Where you find horses and cattle wandering.

Sheep grazing. 

Child cowgirling.

Mother donkey with child.  

Yurts by the side of streams. 

Mutton sizzling. 

You just wouldn’t want to leave.
