Lantau sights

The back of the Big Budha (大佛) was visible over the Shek Pik (石壁) reservoir. There was hardly a soul around the reservoir on that day, although I did see a couple of young people riding mountain bikes on the steep side walks. There are really lots of interesting, scenic places that we can visit in leisure without having to get out of Hong Kong. It is just as relaxing and invigorating, if not more so.

The quality of this picture was not good. But it was snapped through the windows of a speeding, jumpy bus. So I did have an excuse.

You must be bringing your camera all the time and watch out for scenes to capture, and have the time to wander around! Though we don't have to travel outside HK for beautiful and serene scenery like this, for city driller like me whose office is just 5 min drive from home and work 12 hours a day in the office, I do not have the chance like you have and not even during holidays like today.

Sorry, "city dweller" not "driller"

Yes, I do carry my camera with me practically all the time. Even when I go jogging - I just carry a smaller one. :)

And today, I took my camera with me when I go grave-sweeping. Will show you some of the pictures later.

And, yes, I do work 12 hours a day in the office. :(

That's why I sleep so little. Somehow it just seems a waste of time - to go to bed, I mean.

Now, now, now... you remember what V & K said during lunch the other day about not sleeping...

Yeah, but you know my philosophy. If I have to forgo things I love in order to live to a ripe old age, then I may decide to pass. :)

Okay, then think of it as staving off the "not-quite-dying", then :-P.
