In the group stage, Hong Kong defeated Korea 4 - 1. That was the biggest miracle. Then Hong Kong lost to China 0 - 1. But Hong Kong still advanced out of the group together with Korea, at the expense of China. Because China had lost to Korea 0 - 3.
In the semi-finals, Hong Kong tied with North Korea 1 - 1, but defeated North Korea in the penalty shoot-out 4 - 2.
In the final, which took place only a few hours ago, the game was again tied at 1 - 1. But Hong Kong again defeated Japan 4 - 2 in the penalty shoot-out.
Within 10 days, Hong Kong defeated Korea, lost to China, but defeated North Korea and Japan. Hong Kong has not been this good for as long as I can remember.
That's why people say the football is round and anything can happen in a football game. I shall feel more hopeful for the young people in Hong Kong.

Miracles are not come by itself. Everything must need to pay the effort on it. Did you know how many the players paid at the back....
Yeah, of course the players worked hard. But so did other teams. Working hard does not guarantee that one will win. One still needs a miracle.
